I travelled during a pandemic

Almost the whole world has been grounded recently. Millions of people around the world must stay at home to prevent the spread of the virus. Although the first week of sitting at home can almost seem like a dream come true, the following weeks may already cause despair. The place where I am employed does not interrupt work, but I had a vacation, so I had to make the most of these two weeks. Was I bored? Not so much. What was I doing? I travelled! I was in Rome and Paris. How did I do that? I ran my finger over the map, my eyes on YouTube, and in the kitchen, I was recreating flavours from countries I supposed to go to this year.

You have already learned recipes for my Italian feast in previous posts, I will soon throw in those from the French feast. I think that such evenings can be excellent entertainment for the whole family. I tried to rearrange my living room, so it gives an impression of the country I wanted to visit. I also introduced the dress code, of course, everything had to be associated with the selected country. After dinner and a city tour, you will ask what trip do I mean? Well, you can find movies where someone is filming their walk around the city. I know, it's not the same as a real walk, but in the current situation, even if it seems like it can distract us for a moment from the sad reality. At the end of the evening, it was movie time.

I know that everyone is fed up with this madness, I also miss the pre-corona world. I know how hard it is to remain optimistic in such situations, checking the news is becoming an obsession. However, I encourage you to break away from it, let's use this time creatively.

Besides, to map travelling, I plan a fashion show and "Spa Day" using homemade cosmetics. Every day I try to visit my home gym and catch up with knowledge about Polish show business thanks to @vogulepoland. But enough about me, what are your ways to survive under house arrest? Please don't be shy and share with me in comments. xoxo Jagodzianka
